About Shuakh
I am originally from China, and I am currently working in Almaty as an English and Chinese teacher. I am fluent in Mandarin Chinese, Kazakh, and English, which allows me to provide instructions in these languages and ensure effective communication with my students.
Growing up in a multicultural environment, I had the privilege of attending three different medium of instruction (MOI) education systems. This exposure allowed me to develop a deep understanding of diverse cultures and appreciate the beauty of different languages. Having friends from various ethnicities and countries, I've learned to embrace diversity and approach different cultures with an open mind and respect. This has shaped me into a teacher who values the individuality of each student and creates an inclusive learning environment.
As a language learner myself, I am familiar with the common challenges that second language learners face. I understand the frustrations, the difficulties, and the moments of triumph. My personal experiences have given me insights into effective teaching methods that cater to the needs of my students.
I am about to finish my master's degree in two foreign language teaching, which has provided me with a strong theoretical foundation and practical teaching skills.With three years of experience as an English and Chinese teacher, I have developed a student-centered approach to my lessons.
