About Austin
I’m Austin Perkins, a Dallas-based Asset Management Analyst with a background in commercial real estate, affordable housing, and data-driven investment strategy. Originally from Tucson, Arizona, I earned my B.S. in Geography with a focus in GIS from New Mexico State University, where I also walked on to the Division 1 football team, an experience that taught me resilience, focus, and leadership under pressure. Professionally, I’ve built a foundation in market research, asset performance analysis, and financial modeling through my work with Novogradac and related underwriting projects. My experience spans LIHTC multifamily housing, QSR and medical office underwriting, and even oil & gas tract evaluation blending on-the-ground research with analytical storytelling.

If you want to learn about math, geography and life lessons that is me. I was blessed to play Division 1 football, I played free safety there. At age 25 there have been a lot of things in life I’ve had to figure out on my own that most 25-year-olds don’t have to do. Looking forward to meeting students and teaching them math, geography and how to navigate through life
