About Rongjia
Hi! I’m a Computer Science student at NYU with a strong background in math and programming. Through my coursework and technical projects, I’ve worked extensively with subjects ranging from mathematics and algorithms to Python, Java, C++, and JavaScript. I know how frustrating it can be when a concept just doesn’t click, so I’m patient and happy to explain things in different ways. I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building real confidence in the subject.

Math and computer science can feel overwhelming when concepts are explained too quickly or without enough context. In my lessons, I break problems down step by step and explain not only how to solve them, but why the solution works. I tailor lessons to each student, whether you’re working on homework, preparing for an exam, learning to code, or strengthening your fundamentals. I’m patient, flexible, and happy to approach the same concept in different ways until it clicks. My goal is for you to leave each lesson understanding the material and feeling more confident solving problems on your own.
