About Shane
As a recent graduate from NAU, I am freshly trained in create online digital spaces that allow learners to comfortably demonstrate their present knowledge and to curate new learning experiences that will challenge my learners in enhancing their learning progression. I am proud to showy you my collection of digital resources and to keep a record of achievements throughout our time together. I believe that through these tutoring session, you and I will be able to gamify the learning experiences by establishing small micro-credentials to help build towards the overall goals.

As an educator I believe in the value in exercising constructivism, connectivism, and experimental learning theories into every lesson to help my leaders achieve their desirable goal and lesson outcomes. A typical lesson of mine will always highlight our session goals and will be sprinkled with engaging learning activities and assessments to ensure that my learners learning progression is moving in a forward direction. What sets me apart as a tutor is my passion for teaching math and always thinking of how I can incorporate digital technology into the tutoring space to produce highly effective results. I am knowledge able about and have high competencies into the math domains of number systems, algebra, statistics, and geometry. Most of my lesson will be approporate for learners that are performing up to the 9th grade level, but I am always seeking new challenges to refine my teaching practice to give me opportunities to expand my knowledge and modeling what a life long learners can look like.
