I believe in making sure my students understand why a method works more than just it working in general. Understanding concepts can bring someone from just sliding by to acing a class. I work great with kids and young adults and I have a lot of creative ways to explain math, algebra specifically in a way that has been really effective. I also used to tutor when I went to school at Penn State for higher level, math like calculus and statistics.
