About Yasin

I’m Yasin Arifin Tiham, I wanna teach, to be honest of course because it pays well especially for tuition teachers, but also because it means providing help where school teachers aren’t able to, often times, school teachers have to specialise to the whole class which means certain students are left out and that always rubbed me wrong, I believe every student has the right to learn but this right is only fulfilled when the teacher has the drive to teach, who is more driven than me? I don’t believe in harsh teaching, if a patient comes to a doctor, would it be better for the doctor to beat him and then give the medicine or first soothe? Expect me to be gentle but unwavering

About the lesson

You can definitely message me at any time for personal study questions but my approach to teaching is as follows, so feel free to tell me what you think is easy or what you think is hard
1. Start off with easy drills for the topic that I will be teaching you, typically we’ll try to get those drills done as quickly as possible on a timer, over sessions we’ll try to get you quicker and more decisive, this is for topics from the past session
2. Then we’ll go through a short tutorial of today’s relevant topic, feel free to ask any questions, since we’ll need to have any gaps in your logic filled ASAP
3. Then we’ll go through some easy questions, then harder questions, this’ll take a short amount of time
4. Based on your responses, I’ll get a gauge of what your hard questions are, special attention will be provided to help you understand
5. An easy drill will be given to raise your confidence first while I prepare a questionarre with questions hard to you
6. While you complete these questions, feel free to make as many errors
7. Corrections, I will correct your mistakes and keep questioning your understanding until it’s coherent and for future questions you will be much more likely to be right
8. A simple list of questions ranking from easy to hard as homework, relevant to the topic will be given to you, a brief summary sheet of the topic taught and as always, my number will be open to you for questions
Length of a lesson is adjustable, ranging from 1-2h and if the student is especially rapid, we may even go through 2 topics in 3h
