About Ella
Hi! I'm Ella, a dedicated and patient tutor who truly enjoys helping students understand their subjects with confidence. I'm currently a student myself, so I understand the challenges students face - juggling schoolwork and co-curricular activities, and the constant pressure to perform well. Because of that, I try my best to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and learning at their own pace. I used to struggle with asking for help because I thought it made me look weak. But over time, I realized that asking questions is actually one of the strongest things you can do — it shows you want to grow. That experience motivates me to be the kind of tutor who makes students feel safe to speak up and clarify their doubts. I also enjoy finding simple ways to break down “difficult” topics, especially because I’m familiar with the current syllabus and study techniques like active recall, spaced repetition, and exam-style practice. It’s very fulfilling to see students I teach improve bit by bit and gain confidence in themselves. Ultimately, I want to teach because I know how empowering it feels when someone finally understands a concept they once struggled with, and I want to help my students experience that same feeling!
