About Mary

Good morning !

Still a student for a short time, I would like to share my experience and my multidisciplinary training (letters, languages, sciences, history and art history).

During my long career, and especially in secondary school, I had to face difficulties related to pedagogy and expectations which were not described by the professors, most of the time. By training myself hardly, I managed to understand and overcome certain common difficulties that we never dare to describe in class because of lack of time. However, these questions are the key to being able to understand specific notions.

I am at your disposal for any questions (there are no stupid questions!), Repeating is mother of all pedagogy. But we have to adapt to each one to find what is disturbing you: there will be no more burden class. By explaining the function of everything we ask, we better understand how to apply and use it.

My personal journey has led me to reflect a lot on educational psychology and pedagogy, and the way of teaching. Myself a student before you, I easily put myself in students'baskets uncomfortable with some things or simply wishing to improve by persevering.

About the lesson

For all subjects, I am attentive to the particular need and I adapt the lessons to each one.

- Primary, middle and high school English and support: basic review, conversations, lessons, comprehension, pronunciation.
I'm adapting myself to the needs of students in difficulty or simply wanting to improve their understanding, level and accent.

- French college, high school.
Help in understanding what teachers ask for, basic grammar reminders, writing tips.

- Sciences: middle school mathematics, high school science (2nd).
Help in understanding lessons and exercises, explained in a more educational way to understand teachers' excpectations. Sciences will no longer be a feared subject! Calculations, problems, learning the great theorems. High school science: program for the current year, enlightened.
- History of Arts secondary support: college and high school.
Chronology, help. Key concepts.
- College, high school history.
Idem, depending on the program and expectations. Key concepts.
