About Charlotte
Hi! I’m Charlotte — a bilingual Chinese tutor who grew up in an English-speaking environment, so I deeply understand the struggles many students face when learning Chinese in Singapore.
I graduated from Temasek Junior College and have taken several translation-related classes, which helps me explain Chinese clearly and effectively to bilingual learners. My lessons are structured, engaging, and focused on helping students improve quickly.
I specialize in improving students’ Chinese writing, oral speaking confidence, listening skills, and exam techniques, with clear frameworks and personalized feedback.

I grew up in a bilingual environment and understand the challenges students face when learning Chinese in an English-dominant setting. My lessons are designed to be structured, engaging, and highly effective — with visible improvement in a short period of time.
I focus on:
• Clear step-by-step writing frameworks (for composition, email, situational writing)
• Practical vocabulary upgrading (high-frequency phrases + expressive language)
• Listening & speaking confidence training (especially for oral exams)
• Error-pattern correction (targeting the student’s weakest habits to improve quickly)
• Exam-focused strategies (answering techniques, time management, scoring points)
I also incorporate fun and memorable methods such as:

• real-life conversation practice
