About Gemma
I recently graduated from the University of Glasgow with a 2:1 in Philosophy with honours.
I took a long time to adapt to university life and adopted my own way of revising, note-taking and preparing.
I found the ways in which lecturers teach quite overwhelming and needed some one on one support to truly understand the concepts and to be able to ask questions that seemed silly to myself. I want to provide that same support to other students who may find themselves in a similar position.
I love to bake, read, sing, and I am a very energetic person.

I am a energetic and friendly person who understands the anxieties of academic work and social interactions and so I can take this into account when speaking with you.
I understand some may prefer to have their camera off and I am totally fine with that! It can be nerve wracking to virtually interact with someone and I totally understand that and want you to feel comfortable at all times.
I struggled for many years with note-taking and so I am happy to do this for you if you have downloaded videos from virtual classes. I also understand how overwhelming academia can be (at any level) and so can provide helpful advice and tricks on how to survive ( eg exam prep, managing time and even providing study templates).
I will try to explain things in the most simple way in order to provide a good basis for learning and understanding the concepts.
