About Susana
My name is Susana Mulkey. I am 59 years old and was born and raised in Irapuato, Guanajuato, Mexico. I taught English at a grade school for five years before moving to the United States in 1996, where I got married. I raised two daughters and one stepdaughter: Amanda (33), Elisa (27), and Alexis (22). We also have three dogs who are very much part of the family. Family is the most important part of my life. I have been married for 30 years, and I believe family is the foundation of everything. From a very young age, I knew I wanted to be a teacher. It is both my vocation and my passion. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and culture with those who appreciate the Spanish language. I have been teaching for 25 years and am currently a high school Spanish teacher at St. Pius X High School in Festus, Missouri. Now that my girls are grown and living on their own, I have more time and flexibility—and I’m excited to use that time to continue teaching Spanish online. Let me know if you want to use this as part of your résumé, a cover letter, or for your profile on a teaching platform like Preply or Wyzant—I can tailor it to fit! Yes
