About Amanda

Hi! I graduated from the University of Miami with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a master’s degree in Taxation. I currently work as a Senior Tax Associate at a Big Four accounting firm, where I use math, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills on a daily basis.

I’ve always enjoyed working with numbers and breaking down challenging concepts into simpler steps. I understand that every student learns differently, and I believe patience, encouragement, and clear explanations can make a big difference.

I’m excited to use my educational and professional background to help students strengthen their math skills, build confidence, and feel more comfortable in the classroom!

I offer personalized, one-on-one math tutoring for elementary and middle school students, focusing on building a strong foundation and improving confidence in math.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs, whether they’re struggling with a specific topic, need help with homework, or want extra practice before an upcoming test.

I focus on breaking down concepts into simple, easy-to-understand steps and working through practice problems together. I encourage students to ask questions and learn at their own pace in a patient, supportive environment.

My goal is to help students not only improve their grades but also develop a better understanding of math and feel more confident in the classroom.
