About Becca

Hi! I'm a graduate specialist who works one-on-one with neurodiverse college, high school, and middle school students, and I'd love to support you.

Whether you're staring down a blank page, feeling stuck on a big essay, or dreading an upcoming test, we can work through it together, at your pace, in a way that actually makes sense to you.

I don't do one-size-fits-all. Every session is built around you, your goals, your strengths, and the specific challenges you want to tackle. My job isn't to point out what's hard; it's to help you find the approach that makes things click.

I believe you already have more to work with than you might think. My goal is to help you see that and give you tools you can keep using long after our sessions end.

About the lesson

If you are looking for a tutor that specializes in English writing and literature, then you have come to the right place. I am passionate about English but also understand that it is not everyone's favorite subject, so my goal is to make English work as painless and easy as possible. Additionally, I specialize in working with neurodivergent students and creating lessons that fit their individualized needs.

Supportive 1:1 lessons that are student-driven and focused. Each lesson is meant to build upon skills the student wants to develop or improve.

Lessons are generally geared toward high school students, but can be adjusted for middle schoolers. The lesson content can be adjusted based on what the student would like to work on, e.g., homework, essays, lit reviews, or a resume workshop. Students can request help for all courses that are taught in English.

Lesson plans depend on what the student would like to work on, but typically follow the basic English class structure: review, introduction of skill, 1:1 work, and final questions.
