About Chatya

I graduated from Changzhou Institute of Technology in Hotel Management. Professionally, I have worked closely for 2 years with clients in China. Now I work in a multinational company in Malang engaged in containers and logistics industry.

Personally, I am a cheerful person, hardworking, and love to try new challenges. I also enjoy traveling and learning new cultures.

About the lesson

Hello!
I am Chatya. In 2016 I had the opportunity to live and study for 5 years as the program from Chinese government scholarship. While in China, I worked in the hospitality and service industry, such as tea shop and 5-star hotels. Currently, I work in a multinational company to closely work with clients from China. I mastered Mandarin at both the daily conversations level to professional level.

After returning from Indonesia, I also had the opportunity to become a Mandarin lecturer at a university in Palembang and privately teach Mandarin to children under 10. The teaching method I choose is not a traditional method which only teaches how to write and speak, but I also introduce students to get to know Chinese culture and also how local people communicate with each other. I’ll make sure to teach my students in a fun method, such as playing games or singing.

I am also very open to my students regarding teaching methods, therefore the teaching materials that I provide are always innovative and flexible according to student learning styles.
