About Alice
I have just graduated from University where I studied history and languages and cultures and am now training to become a languages teacher. I love languages and think they are so important but throughout my time studying German I have sat through many unenjoyable lessons which made me want to quit. I am committed to changing the way young people see learning language, and creating engaging, enjoyable and accessible lessons which rapidly develop both confidence and accuracy. I am currently studying the pedagogy behind learning languages and will implement that into my teaching, too.

I am fluent in all aspects of the German language (listening, reading, writing, speaking) and will happily focus on the area you’d like to work on most. Lessons will primarily be taught in German, with a switch to English to explain key concepts or corrections where needed (unless pupils are complete or early beginners!). I will follow the curriculum if you are working towards an A level or GCSE - I am familiar with this through studying my PGCE in Modern Languages Teaching this year.
