About Valeria

My master's degree in "Languages, Cultures and Literary Translation" has allowed me to become more and more passionate about the world of American and Spanish literature. Thanks to my previous three-year university course in "Linguistic Mediation" I was able to expand my knowledge and skills regarding the translation sphere. I managed to combine my passion for commercial translation and dialogic interpretation with the literary translation of poems and poems. The topic of my three-year thesis was developed around the dubbing work on Quentin Tarantino's film "Jackie Brown", while for the two-year period I decided to go deeper and analyze the figure of the American poet Emily Dickinson. During the university period I started my career as a school tutor giving repetitions (mainly in English, Spanish and Italian) to students of various age groups. I did the internship in a private English school in my city, during which I was supported by native teachers. Thanks to this experience I managed to improve my teaching method by putting into practice what I studied and learned. I am available for video lessons through the various online platforms.

About the lesson

My approach to the subject is purely free and aimed at mastering English through different methodologies based on the type of student and his needs. Sometimes learning can take place more schematically, especially with those who have a medium-low level of language.
