About Iolanda

My name is Iolanda, I'm 27 and I've been studying music for 6 years now. I'm originally from Portugal, and I am currently finishing my degree in Songwriting, at BIMM London and did 3 years of Vocal Jazz study before that! I play guitar and a bit of piano to accompany myself, but my main focus is vocals, melodies and harmony. I've been a professional singer for 10 years as I've started out really young gigging in pubs and restaurants to earn a living. I've been giving singing lessons for three years now, and I'm new to this platform! Send me a message if you're looking for a singing lesson!

About the lesson

My approach as a vocal coach is to understand the needs of the student, so that together we can achieve their goals as a singer. I believe in taking step by step measures to overcome the challenges that each individual singer may face.

1 - The first 15 minutes of the lesson are focused on developing your vocal technique;

2 - I base the rest of the lesson on practicing your desired repertoire, exploring dynamics, emotion, form, and intention, applying the talked vocal technique.

Bo is a tuned singer, has a good pitch and understands the exercises very quickly. The focus on his lessons will be the high pitch exercises and connecting the sentences throughout example songs.
