About João

My name is Joao Pedro! You know that friend you will always ask questions in the classroom? Well, that's me. Formally speaking, I have a degree in Social Sciences at Universidade Federal Fluminense. During the course, I was one of the founders of the Black Directory of Social Sciences (NECS), where I still participate as an organizer of events and classes. I coordinate the Hegel Study Group in Quarantine, having carried out the reading and discussion of the Phenomenology of Spirit in 53 meetings between April 2020 and April 2021 and currently carrying out the reading and discussion of the Science of Logic. I am also reading in a study and discussion group Kant's Critique of Pure Reason, Spinoza's Ethics, Descartes' Meditations, T. Adorno's Negative Dialectic, Fichte and Spinoza's Foundations of Science and the Problem of Expression by G. Deleuze. These study groups were all self-managed by the students for free because I believe in a free, inclusive and quality education and, when the University was insufficient to meet my reading interests, I built, together, a new access route. the education. This is the spirit of NECS, in which we also set up study groups and events on Lélia Gonzalez, Clóvis Moura, Beatriz Nascimento, among others. In terms of professional performance, I was a CNPQ scholarship monitor, linked to the Department of Political Science for the Contemporary Democracy and Republic project, from 2020 to 2021. I was also a PIBIC researcher in the research project Gender Policies among Peasants and Traditional Peoples of Brazil, under guidance of Professor Graziele Cristina Dainese de Lima and is linked to the Casa/Conatus Research Group, from 2021 to 2022. Linked to this PIBIC project, I was the organizer and conductor of the Conversation Circles on Peasant Sexual Dissidence during the first period of 2022, in which I produced the exhibition and discussion of the topics discussed in the PIBIC project. I was also regent of the discipline Sociology of Race Relations II, in 2020.2, offered by Professor Ana Motta Ribeiro to undergraduate students of Social Sciences at the Fluminense Federal University. The regency of this discipline implied the direct development of pedagogical activities under the guidance of the teacher. I also offered a free course on Race, Culture and Clovis Moura. I have skills developed in the classroom, leadership, good communication, theoretical research, text development, organization of didactic and research activities, having stood out a lot for my educational performance during university.
