I took piano lessons as a teenager and didn’t play again until I bought a piano when I was 58. After having only a small amount of success self studying and saying I need to find a piano teacher for several years (I am 65 now) I finally got a recommendation for Ana at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music. Reading her bio right away she struck me as a good fit for me. When I reached out in an email I learned she had returned to Argentina but also learned she teaches on line. I decided to try on line lessons and to my surprise they work very well for me. I have a very good connection with Ana. She evaluated my level, backed me down a bit and now we are working on appropriate pieces, theory and technique for my level and feel I am making excellent progress. I now take two hours a week with her and look forward to each lesson. I am extremely happy to be studying again for my own enjoyment and keeping my brain sharp as I age. I am also extremely happy that Ana is my coach on this new adventure. It’s never too late to start a new dream!
