About Jessica
I graduated with a bachelor's of commerce from the University of Toronto, Rotman Commerce. I specialized in Finance and Economics. As one of Rotman Commerce’s top students, I had the pleasure of representing Rotman Commerce and the University of Toronto in multiple finance-related competitions. In my most recent competition, I led a team of students in representing Rotman Commerce as well as Ontario in the Canada Learning Bond Champions contest, organized by the Employment and Social Development Canada. Additionally, I had the pleasure of consulting with non-governmental organizations and micro-enterprises in South Africa, sponsored and organized in part by the University of Toronto. I am incredibly passionate about fostering growth and development in the next generation of adult students interested in communication, business and finance.

For my classes that require a foundation like AP economics, I would first get the students to read the chapter before class. I will teach them the chapter and ask them to work on problems. Afterward, I will take up the problem and test them with quizzes. Economics is composed of microeconomic and macroeconomic. I will have my students do a practice exam after each subject with a final exam at the end of the course. As for simpler classes like public speaking, I mainly get my students to practice writing speech and presenting them. I work on impromptu to develop their critical thinking skills. I will get them to debate about topics every couple of classes to build their confidence. Lastly, I will teach them skills to make sure they can improve their style of speech.

My charge depends on the traveling distance and there is no cancellation fee if 24 hours notice is given. If the notice is given within 24 hours then there is a cancellation fee of $20 dollars.
