About Hannah
Hello, my name is, Hannah! I am 27 years old very ambitious, motived, and a persistent young teacher. I, as a person who has struggled with my own learning disabilities in school, have a passion getting to work with students with special needs or struggling students. Being able to encourage students to feel confident in their ability to learn in the classroom and in social settings is a highlight in my life. Personal hobbies that I enjoy include listening to music, being outside, swimming, and spending time with friends and family.

As an individual who knows first hand how anxiety provoking a classroom can be, especially with a learning disability, I have an innate way of being able to connect with my students. Academics should not be a place of fear but instead curiosity and fun as learning is so natural for us as humans.
I do not have a specific lesson plan as each of my students’ learning and needs are all drastically different. My approach to learning is very student oriented. As the teacher, I invoke a thought to a student and allow them to take that thought to the next level. The overall plan is to work on areas of struggle such as spelling, reading, writing, and comprehension and those practices come from engaging lessons that are hands on.
My area of expertise are for grades 3rd and younger. I focus on reading, writing, comprehension, and phonics.
