About Keri
I have been an RN for approximately 26 years and initially graduated with a BSN. Shortly after I returned to school to obtain my MSN in nursing education and my EdD so that I could teach other people who had the heart to serve in nursing. I have obtained multiple nationally recognized certifications because I believe it enhances my practice and improves patient outcomes, while also illustrating commitment to the profession I have taught in ASN, BSN, MSN, and NP programs in various capacities and also educate in the hospital setting. I am a knowledge seeker to my core, therefore I love to share what I have learned.

My approach to learning is to create a fun and safe space where questions are welcomed and minds are challenged to their full potential. Much of my instruction is interactive and promotes critical thinking and the development of clinical and social skills. I invest in my students first as individuals and secondly as learners in my class, understanding that we all come with past experiences that shape who we are and how we learn. Above all, remember that knowledge truly is power.
