About Miguel
Hey! I'm Miguel and I was born in Switzerland, where I lived until I was 11 years old. Therefore, German is, like Portuguese, my first language. I have a degree in Languages, Literature and Cultures (Bidisciplinary English-German) from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto, so I am fluent (level C1) in both languages. In addition, I received a C1 German level certificate, awarded by the Sprachlehrinstitut Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg, following the intensive course I took.

I have vast experience in oral and written communication in German, English and Portuguese, and I frequently translate academic articles and other texts. Since 2018, I have been translating a book (without title) from Didi Schmidt, from German to Portuguese. Since I have been teaching private lessons and providing language tutoring sessions (of English and German) since 2017, I am in constant contact with those languages.
