About Alishba
I have just graduated with an Honors BSc in Biomedical Sciences and am off to pursue my master's degree soon. I always saw all my classmates excelling in their classes with a lot of ease. I on the other hand had to work very hard to achieve good grades. I had courses where I did poorly in and ones where I did great. For me, it was all about finding an effective and efficient learning method so that I can not only do well in university but also spend lots of time with friends and family. I also managed my time to be a clinical hospital volunteer. While it seems like a lot, I yearn to help each and every one of you find your personalized learning method. I want to give back to my students because I too have been in your shoes, and oh have I grown into them, and so shall you.

My lessons use active recall, repetition, and application so that you can retain and understand knowledge to your full capacity. I like to tell my students, “we are not born intelligent, we learn” as I did during my undergraduate. With this empathy, I will adapt my teaching methods providing to your learning style, giving you real life examples and test samples to simulate your classes. Whether that be long answer or multiple choice, we will work through it together.
