About Mae
I am a 28 yo student of Environmental Engineering.
After living in France/Europe for the last 12 years, I am looking to transfer my French language and learning skills to motivated students!
I am originally of British origin and with plenty of experience in hospitality and tutoring in big cities, so I love working with all types of backgrounds.
The language and culture are both close to my heart now, and I would love to help someone else feel confident and open up all the opportunities that come with speaking French.

45 minutes or 1 hour lessons tailored to suit you and your level.
All ages and levels welcome, and since we all learn differently we will take the time to find the style that fits you best and reach your objectives.
Practise makes perfect so typically we will go over and consolidate what was learned in the previous lesson(s), before progressing onto a new lesson rotating between grammar, reading, listening and vocabulary.
We will use themes based on real life situations with a focus on whatever interests you to keep your motivation levels up!
Learning a language takes time and determination, but anything is possible.
As an adult I went from a low level of French to speaking fluently through both lessons and being entirely immersed in the language through university and work, so we will use all the tips and tricks I've picked up along the way!
I've had experience tutoring English to young children and other subjects including mathematics in high school.
