About Gabriel

I am a member of PET - Physics at UFRN and the research group Ge3 (Group of Evolution and Stellar Structures) and whose research topic for scientific initiation is "Computational modeling of the phenomenon of stellar convection". I am a contributor to the PET.py and EducaPET initiatives and creator of the OlimPET project in which you can check the links that will be attached. My teaching methodology consists of two parts: theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part I expose the content in which the student has some difficulty trying to elucidate any and all concepts that perhaps have not been made clear to the student and I seek to present techniques that help him in solving problems of the most varied types. The theoretical part, on the other hand, consists of solving various types of problems for fixing and deepening the content, always seeking to implement the techniques covered and, if necessary, present experiments that can assist in the assimilation of information. Such experiments can be done manually if they are not too complicated or with the aid of computational modeling using the programming language Python and / or GeoGebra. Currently I only work with the online modality, for that I have a digitizing table for the resolution of questions and demonstrations of theorems and I use the typographic language LaTeX to write auxiliary materials and exercise lists for students. For high school students, I have experience in the ITA, IME and Olympics segments and among other entrance exams in the areas of Physics and Mathematics. If the reader is interested, you can check the materials written by me on the official page of PET - Physics UFRN in the tabs PET.py and OlimPET. Given the above, I would like to make it clear that my intention is not to make you as a student memorize formulas or demonstrations, but to make you understand what is behind each of the temples and / or demonstrations in such a way that you can do them yourself and then be able to solve the most varied problems using the most varied tools.

Pleasure, my name is Gabriel Wendell. The purpose of my classes is to make you understand the core of the content and learn to implement the theory in order to solve the most varied problems, whether they are complicated or not. In this way, I will try to explain in order to make clear any and all theory that may not have been well consolidated for the student in question. I will always try to provide various techniques and tools that can help in solving a problem, be it complicated or not. Regarding the exercises, I usually solve the exercises that the student may be having some difficulty with or, if the student wishes, pass lists of exercises of increasing difficulty levels in order to exercise and fix the theory and whenever possible, present alternative solutions for the same problem using different concepts. At the moment I am only able to give classes in the online modality, for that, I have the following tools: - Digitizer table for theory and exercise resolution - Microsoft Whiteboard, Krita and / or SmoothDraw virtual whiteboard programs. - GeoGebra to graphically illustrate mathematical concepts. - JupyterLab to perform computer simulations using the Python programming language. - TeXStudio for typing complementary material using LaTeX. The subjects that can be addressed are the following: 1) High School: - Physics (from Mechanics to Modern Physics) - Mathematics (from Arithmetic to Complex Numbers) - Chemistry (General Chemistry and Physical Chemistry) 2) Higher Education: - Physics (from Mechanics to Modern Physics) - Mathematics (Pre-Calculus, Calculus I / II / III, Linear Algebra, Number Theory, Algebra I / II, Real Analysis)
