About Jorge

As a professional who works with Photoshop since version 0, I have endless practical cases of applying image manipulation techniques and tools, from the mask to the retouch. All techniques are taught with practical application and adapted to the needs of each one.

About the lesson

Creativity is my way of life. In and out of work. As long as there are ideas, there will always be something to communicate. Advertising has been the most visible side of my creative work, due to the “fault” of several years of collaborating with major Advertising Agencies in Portugal and, occasionally, in other countries such as Australia, England, Spain, Jordan or Italy. What makes me get up in the morning is the desire to learn more and more. New projects, new ways of communicating, new worlds to explore. This is what rules my life. I entered the advertising market very early and at the age of 25 I created my first agency. What I had left in enthusiasm, I lacked in experience. In 2000, packed with the new century, I took a chance on a new company. This time, more mature and with a very peculiar market niche - the financial market. Twelve years later, the financial crisis would end the project. I decided to head south and settled in Oeiras. After a few months just as a free lancer and training, a new challenge arises. Participate in the launch of a new agency - Mosca Publicidade. The market has changed and the challenge now is to do a lot, with very little. Let's do it. In parallel, during my career, I was sharing my experience through training in areas mainly related to communication and graphic design and also in social actions with disadvantaged young people. At this moment I participate in a project for young people with learning difficulties, to be implemented in 2021, in two schools in Oeiras. Cinema, painting, photography and music are other areas where I have applied my creativity. And so a new adventure emerged. Be part of a multidisciplinary team of content creation and animation of business events, at 432 events.
