About Mark
A strong creative and widely experienced graphic designer with over 20 years in the industry, I have worked with a multitude of blue chip clients including Doc Martens, Barclays Bank, Deutsche Bank and Massarellas Catering creating menus and signage for a vast range of restaurants across the UK. I have also worked extensively within the manufacturing sector, spending a year sub-contracted to Irwin Tools in Sheffield where I worked on the production of Irwin and Lenox tool catalogues and price lists both UK and foreign language translations, I also worked on packaging and advertising, liaising with the UK marketing team and with the German head office on other day to day requests. With the acquisition of Irwin by Newell Rubbermaid, this brought about further involvement in other sectors such as Parker, Sharpie and Graco.

I have a thorough knowledge of Adobe creative Suite, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. My teaching method is very much working with the level the student is at, whether its the first steps in walking around the tools in Illustrator, more advanced understanding of Photoshop layers or wanting to learn the way Indesign works in relation to creating your own booklet I am able to help guide the students to where they want to be. In return feel free to let your creative spirit run free as this is an industry where you are the artist and the programs are your paintbrush!
