About Melisa

I am an English teacher with more than 10 years of experience teaching students of different ages and levels. I work teaching English in secondary schools and also in language institutes where I prepare students for different levels, including international exams such as the First Certificate.

About the lesson

These workshops are a project to get rid of the fear of speaking in English, relax and have fun in the process. They are conversation classes on everyday topics where you will be able to express yourself in the language, interact and socialize with other people and also continue learning. The classes are dynamic, since topics are proposed to chat through games, articles, short stories, audios, songs and videos. Vocabulary, grammar and phonetics are seen, always as part of the talk, in order to continue growing in the use and management of the language. During the classes we are attentive to errors and they are corrected in order to continue learning. The workshops have small groups and are divided by levels: intermediate and advanced so that you have chances to participate, you can feel comfortable in the group and chat with people who have the same level. The teacher will guide the class with different activities, proposing the topics and moderating the talk so that everyone has the opportunity to speak, express themselves and give their opinions about the topics being discussed.
