About Perla
One of the nicest parts of teaching is watching students enjoy music instead of worrying about getting everything perfect. That change in confidence is something I always enjoy seeing.
With a Bachelor of Music and 11 years of teaching experience, I've worked with young learners and adult students from many different backgrounds. Those experiences have shown me that steady progress is better than trying to learn everything at once.
I want my lessons to be a place where students feel comfortable learning at their own pace. When learning feels enjoyable, students stay motivated and continue improving long after the lesson ends.

Playing the violin takes patience, but it also becomes very rewarding as your skills improve. I keep lessons simple and easy to follow, so you can enjoy learning while building strong habits from the beginning.
We'll practise bow hold, posture, finger placement, intonation, rhythm, vibrato, ear training, tone production, sight reading, music theory, and performance skills through short exercises and musical pieces. When a difficult part appears, we'll work through it together until it feels much easier.
Each lesson ends with simple practice goals that fit your schedule, making it easier to improve between classes. Over time, you'll notice better control, a richer sound, and more confidence whenever you play.
