I am a passionate vocal coach with over 9 years of experience and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Vocal Arts and Opera. I specialize in helping singers build vocal confidence, overcome performance anxiety, and connect emotionally with their music—especially in contemporary worship and gospel settings. My goal is to create a safe, encouraging space where every student feels empowered to grow. I work with a wide range of styles including Pop, Indie, R&B, and Contemporary Worship. Whether you're singing in church, on stage, or in a studio, I focus on breath control, expressive phrasing, vocal health, and the confidence needed for live performance. My lessons are designed to support shy beginners, teen worship leaders, and aspiring recording artists alike. I bring deep care and attention to each lesson, helping you find your true voice and communicate from the heart. We’ll build strong vocal foundations, explore emotional connection to lyrics, and practice performance techniques for real-world settings like worship services or small stages. You’ll also learn how to care for your voice, improve stamina, and sing with clarity and ease. Every voice is different, and I love helping each student discover what makes theirs special. I am a singing tutor with over five years of experience and hold a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) in Vocal Performance. My passion lies in working with adult beginners, hobbyists, and those returning to singing after time away. Whether you're preparing for community choir, karaoke nights, or simply want to enjoy music more deeply, I'm here to help. My lessons offer a low-pressure, encouraging space where exploration and enjoyment come first. I focus on gentle, effective techniques like breathwork, vocal relaxation, and posture alignment to create a strong foundation. Mindfulness in music and tone development are central to how I teach. I specialize in styles such as Jazz, Folk, Blues, and Contemporary Adult, but every voice has its own path. Together, we’ll find what resonates with you. My approach supports both creativity and vocal health so that singing becomes something you can enjoy for life. Many of my students sing just for themselves—and that’s more than enough. My teaching approach focuses on helping singers prepare for auditions with skill and confidence. I offer step-by-step guidance on how to choose the right repertoire that highlights your strengths and matches the audition’s style or requirements. We work on stage presence so that you walk in and perform with ease and self-assurance.
Managing performance anxiety is a big part of what I teach. I use calming techniques, mindset coaching, and practice strategies to help students stay focused and steady under pressure. You’ll learn how to connect with the material emotionally while staying in control of your voice.
Together, we also refine vocal technique, breath support, and tone clarity to make sure you sound your best. My method includes mock auditions, feedback sessions, and goal-setting to simulate the real experience.
I’m very good with The Adult Beginner and The Advanced Teen, and I help both groups grow past nerves and into strong, expressive performers. You’ll get real support, honest feedback, and encouragement every step of the way.
My lessons are structured but flexible, always adapting to your personal goals and timeline. Whether you’re auditioning for school, college programs, theater, or solo performance opportunities, I will help you feel prepared and confident.
