About Kansha
I am a Software Engineering graduate with a strong interest in education, reflection, and building confident thinkers.
Alongside teaching technology and digital skills, I run guided reading and discussion sessions for children and teens because I believe books are powerful tools for developing:
-thinking
-empathy
-self-expression
-values
My teaching style is:
-calm and patient
-discussion-based, not lecture-based
-supportive and judgment-free
-focused on understanding rather than memorization
I enjoy guiding students to think for themselves, ask better questions, and express their thoughts clearly and respectfully.
For parents, my goal is to provide a space where children:
-engage meaningfully with books
-reduce passive screen time
-develop confidence speaking in a group
-grow intellectually and emotionally
I believe learning should feel thoughtful, empowering, and enjoyable, and I aim to create lessons where students feel heard, curious, and confident.

These lessons are part of a guided book club for children and teens, designed to help young readers think deeply, express themselves clearly, and derive meaningful lessons from good books.
This is not a speed-reading or exam-focused class.
Each session focuses on:
-understanding the story beyond the plot
-discussing characters, choices, and values
-expressing thoughts and opinions confidently
-developing empathy, critical thinking, and reflection
What happens in a lesson:
-Guided discussion based on assigned reading
-Thought-provoking questions (age-appropriate)
-Encouraging children to share ideas respectfully
-Helping students connect stories to real life
The environment is safe, calm, and supportive, allowing children to speak without fear of being judged or corrected harshly.
Outcomes:
Students will:
-improve comprehension and thinking skills
-gain confidence expressing ideas verbally
-develop emotional awareness and empathy
-learn to reflect, not just consume content
Lessons are suitable for:
-children who enjoy reading
-children who read but struggle to explain ideas
-teens developing identity, values, and confidence
Lessons are conducted either one-to-one or in small groups.
