About Jacquelyn

Across 13 years of instruction, I have supported 60+ students through the RCM syllabus with distinction results. Music has been my primary focus since I was 6. My pedagogy is rooted in an MMus in Piano from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.

I offer instruction in pedaling technique, scales and arpeggios, sight transposition, and accompaniment skills. My home studio in Nashville serves students ranging from 6 years old to adult learners. I bring rigorous conservatory discipline combined with encouraging feedback. It is a joy to help you navigate your musical development.

About the lesson

Many pianists struggle with the technical nuances required for sight playing and advanced music theory. You will find that my lessons provide a structured path through classical repertoire and pop and contemporary pieces.

My training at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music informs how I approach ear training. Developing your facility with scales and arpeggios occurs within every 10 minute block of dedicated focus. You will refine your pedalling technique while we explore the mechanics of musical expression together. I look forward to hearing you play.
