After 5 years of guitar, I'm a very positive person and hope my lessons are too. I feel everyone needs a solid foundation to start and it's my hope to lay that down for you. My teaching method is based on that any one can learn to do anything. Not everyone starts on the same playing field, but everyone can get to the same end point. Perhaps your tone deaf, or maybe your hands are really small- but finding unique personalized ways to target those issues is my methodology to creating a better learning experience. Starting off with basic chords, then strumming patterns and more, we will work our lessons into playing simple riffs and scales. All of this will be entire twined with fun pitch training and music theory. That will lay down the basics.
I am a guitarist. I've been playing a variety of instruments and taking lessons over the past 5 years, including but not limited to guitar, ukulele, mandolin, keyboard, bass guitar, autoharp, and baritone ukulele as well as singing. I do a variety of talent shows and other performances from jazz band to musical theater. Preferably like to teach beginners; I feel comfortable with the basics and slightly difficult pieces, but don't feel I've mastered some bit of guitar myself well enough to teach others yet. I take lessons at Seton Hill and Gregor's guitar store as well as a continuing musical theatre career.
I know Serenity through school. She is a fantastic teacher and an amazing teacher. She will work hard and not give up. She is great at explaining and showing what to do.
