About Collen

As a Guitar tutor with 15 years of experience, I have taught students of different ages and skill levels, including school students, college students, and working professionals. I enjoy helping students build confidence and discover their love for music.

I teach chords, rhythm, scales, strumming techniques, finger exercises, and music theory. My lessons are carefully planned to ensure students understand concepts clearly and progress steadily.

My teaching style is friendly, supportive, and student-focused. I believe that learning should be enjoyable, and I encourage students to practice consistently without feeling pressured.

My ability to explain concepts in simple language helps students learn faster and stay motivated. I always aim to make classes engaging, productive, and enjoyable.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology is founded on compassion, communication, and supportiveness. I believe that every student has the ability to learn music successfully when they are guided with patience and encouragement. I understand that each learner is unique, so I adapt my teaching methods according to individual learning styles, goals, and experience levels. I aim to create a positive and comfortable atmosphere where students feel confident, motivated, and excited to learn.

I teach Guitar through a structured and gradual learning process. Beginners first develop proper posture, finger coordination, rhythm understanding, and basic chord techniques. Once the foundation is established, students progress to scales, strumming patterns, chord progressions, fingerstyle techniques, and song performance. Advanced learners are introduced to improvisation, musical expression, and performance preparation.

I believe that strong fundamentals are essential for long-term success. Therefore, I focus on helping students understand concepts clearly instead of simply memorizing lessons. I encourage regular practice and provide constructive feedback after every class to help students improve steadily.

Apart from Guitar, I also teach music theory, ear training, rhythm development, music notation, and songwriting basics. These supporting subjects help students develop complete musical knowledge and improve their overall performance.

My goal is to help students become confident, disciplined, and creative musicians while making learning enjoyable and meaningful.
