About Lola
"Calm encouragement flows from my 13 years of performing as I guide you to hear notes ringing true under your own fingers. My teaching style relies on the technical foundation I built at the Curtis Institute of Music. I use music theory, grade exam prep, and reading sheet music to clarify complex fretboard patterns.
Developing mastery over chord transitions, scales, and modes allows you to improvise and solo with total freedom. I focus on practical application so that you can see steady progress during every single practice session. Together we will define your sound and ensure you reach those goals."

"Picking up the instrument for the first time feels quite different when you have a clear roadmap. I start by observing how you naturally hold the guitar so we can make instant adjustments.
My approach incorporates monthly recorded review of progress to track your improvement over time. After 13 years of performing, I know how to make music theory feel accessible and fun for everyone. We will examine your technique and build the skills required for soloing.
