About Daniel
"Power chords and sheet music fluency form the foundation of my technical practice. I have spent 8 years teaching others how to play.
My path began when open-mic regulars wanted to understand my process. I am a BFA Contemporary Music Performance graduate from USC Thornton. Gigging for 13 years in the American South and Southwest shaped my direct style.
I am a neurodivergent-affirming coach. I currently guide grade exam candidates, working professionals, advanced learners, and returning students. Teaching is quite rewarding. How do you approach your own guitar practice?"

"Playing guitar is often messy work. I focus heavily on lead guitar, reading tabs, and improvisation. You might feel frustrated by soloing at first. My 13 years of gigging inform how I troubleshoot your technique.
We move at a pace that respects your unique cognitive processing style. I keep things groove-focused and simple. My method prioritizes clarity over rigid traditionalism. I aim to keep the process grounded and approachable for everyone."
