About Gabriella
Having earned a Bachelor of Music in Guitar principal from Berklee College of Music, I spend my days helping focused students find their voice. Do you ever feel like your practice sessions lack the specific structure required to push through those stubborn plateaus?
My background is rooted in the reality of performing and teaching, which means I understand the unique challenges faced by working professionals. I have spent 5 years guiding people through the complexities of music theory and ear training.
My approach is loose but structured, ensuring that everything we cover has a clear purpose. I work regularly with advanced learners and those aiming for formal grade exam certification.
It is vital that your practice time yields actual results in your playing. I offer a monthly recorded review of progress to track your technical growth on scales, modes, and improvisation. Getting you to the stage where your technique matches your creative vision is my primary objective.

Many guitarists find themselves struggling to integrate rhythm and soloing into a cohesive performance. Actually, it is quite common to have great theory knowledge but feel stuck when trying to make that translate to the fretboard in real time. My lessons use songs as the primary vehicle for learning because that is how you will apply your skills. We balance acoustic technique with practical maintenance, ensuring your gear is as ready as your hands are.
I draw on my Berklee training to simplify complex concepts like modes or reading tabs into manageable pieces. Grade exam candidates will find my prep work rigorous and focused on building confidence for the big day. Power chords and soloing are just tools, and I help you learn exactly when to deploy them. I am genuinely looking forward to hearing what you are currently working on.
