About Lauryn
Strumming patterns, electric technique, reading sheet music, fingerpicking, and rhythm guitar form the core of my teaching practice. Teaching for 13 years has allowed me to help hundreds of players reach their goals. I started by teaching myself from cassette tapes before attending Berklee College of Music for a Bachelor of Music in Contemporary Music Performance.

Your first 9 minutes of the initial session involve a clear demonstration of my 2 camera angle setup so you see exactly how my hands move. Seeing the guitar neck from multiple perspectives removes the mystery from complex techniques.
This visual clarity ensures you understand the physical mechanics behind every chord shape or scale run. My Berklee background influences how I break down musical concepts into manageable pieces. I keep things practical and laid back during our 7 minute instructional segments. Playing the instrument should feel rewarding rather than like a chore.
