Having finished a BMus at the UBC School of Music, I think of music as a language requiring GRAMMAR AND STYLE. My primary training was violin, but I pivoted to guitar and voice to broaden my technical range. I have taught 148 students over 13 years.
You will learn power chords and barre chords with absolute technical accuracy. Reading sheet music is essential for my students. We explore blues progressions to build your soloing vocabulary. Improvisation requires deep structural knowledge.
I work with absolute beginners and teens to ensure they build habits that last. My lessons are thorough.
