About Morrison
Many students get stuck trying to master complex fingerpicking without understanding basic rhythm guitar. It is an honest confession that I struggled for years to develop clean strumming patterns before I learned how to properly maintain my instrument.
I use my 15 years of gigging experience to help you read tabs and sheet music more effectively. You need to play with confidence.
We will work on power chords and improvisation to build your unique sound. I include a practice module with every lesson to keep momentum high. My goal is to ensure you feel ready to play for an audience.

Years of playing in high-energy Tex-Mex bands have left me with calloused fingers and a deep love for the craft. The hum of a tube amp warming up is a sound I know better than my own name. Working with 220 students has taught me that adults often struggle with the same technical barriers as teens.
Whether you are a working professional or a returning learner, I aim to provide a foundation in music theory and acoustic technique. My journey started as a self-taught guitarist who learned through gigging, which heavily influences my practical style. If you want to explore the traditions of Latin-alternative and rock en español, feel free to reach out for a session.
