About Charlotte
Learning guitar is rarely about playing perfectly from the start. I actually suggest my students make plenty of mistakes while they find their rhythm.
My background includes a BA Music degree from USyd and 13 years of experience as a gigging musician. I have taught 428 students ranging from complete beginners to intermediate players. My approach covers everything from power chords and fingerpicking to electric technique.
We also work on grade exam prep and reading sheet music for those who need it. I also break down chord transitions and strumming patterns to help you write. Mastering scales and modes plus barre chords builds your vocabulary. I know how to get you sounding like a real musician.

Loud amps and steady beats define our space. It is intense but productive. I bring 13 years of gigging experience to every single session. We look at music theory through the lens of songs you actually enjoy playing.
You will move past the basics of electric technique quickly. 8 minutes of each session covers advanced scales. The remaining time focuses on your current guitar goals.
