About Archana

For the past 6 years, I have been teaching and working in the music world, sharing my passion for guitar with students from school age to college level. Teaching has always been more than a job for me. It is a way to encourage young people, build confidence, and help them express themselves through music. My love for education comes from the belief that every student has a unique talent waiting to be discovered. One of the key milestones in my teaching career was realising how much students transform when they finally understand a concept they struggled with. I remember many students who arrived shy and unsure, but with steady practice and guidance, they grew into confident guitar players.

These moments remind me why I chose to teach: to support others in their journey and celebrate their progress with them. My teaching style is friendly, patient, and supportive. I explain concepts in simple language and help students master skills step by step. Whether it is strumming patterns, chord transitions, fingerstyle techniques, or learning favourite songs, I make sure each lesson feels enjoyable and achievable. I believe that learning should be a positive experience, not something stressful or overwhelming. Over the 6 years, I have gained experience with many different learning styles. Some students learn visually, some by listening, and some by practising repeatedly. Understanding this helps me design lessons that fit each individual. I also continue learning myself, studying new playing methods and teaching strategies so I can provide high-quality lessons. Teaching guitar lets me inspire creativity and help students build long-lasting skills. My goal is to guide every learner with passion and care, and to make music a joyful and empowering part of their life. I am excited to continue helping new students discover the magic of the guitar.

About the lesson

My teaching approach uses Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity to help students learn guitar in a clear and enjoyable way. I believe motivation comes from success, so I design lessons that allow students to progress step by step. I make sure beginners feel comfortable, and advanced students feel challenged. Communication is key in my lessons. I explain techniques slowly and clearly, demonstrate them in real time, and answer questions with patience. I use simple examples so students understand how music works and how to practise effectively. Integrity guides how I teach. I prepare lessons carefully, give honest feedback, and support each student based on their personal goals.

I respect every student’s learning speed and always aim to create a safe, positive atmosphere. Creativity helps students connect with the instrument. I use musical games, simple composing tasks, rhythmic exercises, and song-based learning. I encourage students to explore their own ideas so they can enjoy expressing themselves through music. I can also teach related subjects like music theory, rhythm skills, songwriting, and basic recording techniques. My aim is to help students build skill, confidence, and a real love for playing guitar.
