About Nora
Rhythm is the heartbeat of any great performance. You start by feeling the pulse of a blues progression before you even touch a string. I begin by running a diagnostic skills check to see exactly where your fingers need guidance.
Then we build a custom plan that might cover reading sheet music, tuning, or maintenance. I weave in strumming patterns that reflect my cultural background.
We focus on ear training so you can hear the music inside your head. You gain control over your instrument through these targeted exercises. I make sure you learn to play with intent.
Your progress feels natural when we prioritize the groove. I am ready to help you reach your goals.

Precision matters less than rhythm to me. I grew up playing bolero and flamenco, so I treat guitar as a rhythmic language rather than a chore. My BA in Music and Spanish helps me translate complex textures into playable patterns. I have spent 8 years of experience helping students find their groove.
You will not find rigid methods here because I prefer feeling the music first. My teaching is built on the traditions of chacarera and other Latin styles.
I have a BA degree that anchors my technical knowledge. I keep things energetic to ensure you stay engaged. You can expect a relaxed process that values musicality.
