About Sharon
Graduating with a Master of Music in Music Performance from Berklee College of Music gave me a solid technical foundation. This credential supports my 13 years of experience as a full-time musician and teacher.
My work centers on absolute beginners who are just picking up their first instrument. Kids and teens often find my calm presence helpful when tackling difficult concepts.
I focus on the music itself to ensure students see clear progress. Being a concept-first instructor means we address the logic behind the notes before moving forward.
The goal is to keep things practical rather than purely theoretical. I find that this direct style works well for younger players. It just works.

Pacing remains steady through clear feedback that highlights exactly how to improve your playing. We move from rhythm guitar basics into reading tabs and mastering complex strumming patterns. My degree from Berklee informs how I break down barre chords and ear training for students. Beginners will also explore improvisation and soloing to build confidence on the fretboard.
You receive a free trial session to assess your current starting level accurately. This helps us ensure the material matches your needs perfectly.
