About Lance
Technique is secondary to your ability to hear the music you play. Most players think they need expensive gear when they actually just need better ear training and music theory.
I focus on tuning and maintenance, blues progressions, and power chords to build your confidence. My degree is an MMus from New England Conservatory. I spend my time teaching fingerpicking, electric technique, and grade exam prep. Improvisation and soloing are the core of my lead guitar work.

Struggling to switch chords cleanly under pressure happens to almost everyone. The metallic sting of new strings against your fingertips is a rite of passage for any guitarist. I use my 3 years of experience and MMus from New England Conservatory to simplify complex theory. We drill ear training and lead guitar until your playing sounds smooth and intentional.
I expect hard work during our 212 student sessions. This is how I teach.
