About Kian
After several years of playing Rock Music I became obsessed with Classical Music, and decided to pursue a Bachelor's Degree from TU Dublin Conservatoire specializing in Classical Guitar Performance and Composition. I'm currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Composition with a keen interest in the timbral possibilities of the guitar. Despite this focus I still enjoy strumming chords to my favorite songs. I really respond to students who have a particular desire when it comes to learning the guitar and am happy to share all of my knowledge to help students excel.

The first thing a student needs to ask themselves is what they want to get out of music. This could be learning their favourite guitar riff, understanding how chord progressions work or learning how to sight-read. I use all of my experience teaching Rock Guitar and Classical Guitar to to help meet the students' needs by setting realistic goals which are attainable. I have over 8 years experience teaching students privately at beginner/intermediate level.
