About Robert
You might be surprised by how much ground we cover given my background with a BFA in Contemporary Music Performance. After 13 years in the industry, I have learned that students learn best when we treat the instrument as an integrated skill rather than a chore. I can help you navigate grade exam prep, tuning, maintenance, chord transitions, acoustic and electric technique, improvisation, soloing, ear training, tab reading, and essential scales or modes. I know how to get you playing actual music right away.

Struggling to make your chord transitions sound smooth is a common issue that I help you fix by focusing on practical, gig tested methods. You get the benefit of my 13 years in the business as we move through the techniques that actually matter for working musicians. Since I teach 457 students, I have seen every possible challenge and know how to keep our sessions feeling like backstage tips instead of stiff academic instruction. It is just about getting comfortable enough to play for yourself.
