About Virginia
Many beginners struggle to make their barre chords ring out clearly. This is a common hurdle I address immediately. We focus on electric technique and blues progressions to build your dexterity. Reading tabs becomes second nature through consistent, simple practice.
I also share free chord charts and tab sheets after each class for your records. My 13 years of experience allow me to identify exactly where your hand positioning needs a slight nudge. 13 years of experience.

Have you ever wondered how to make a simple chord progression sound like a professional blues record? Working with 102 students has shown me that everyone approaches the fretboard differently.
I bring a Bachelor of Music from Humber College and an RCM Grade 10 background to every private lesson. My own start came through the conservatory, though I spent years branching out into electric technique and songwriting. Balancing the rigors of classical study with the freedom of guitar is how I have operated for 13 years.
My goal is to ensure you feel comfortable reading tabs and mastering barre chords. I find quiet evenings at home with my own guitar to be the most rewarding part of my life.
