About Julie
Spending 13 years on stage with just a guitar and a mic taught me exactly what happens when the lights go up. I am self-taught and have spent over 10 years playing gigs across Nashville and Austin.
These days I focus on practical skills that hold up under pressure. My approach is playful and hands-on because I know how intimidating the stage can feel. I have 13 years of gigging experience to share with you.

How does it feel to finally play the songs you enjoy? We start by taking your favorite requests and turning them into simplified arrangements that you can perform immediately. I guide teens and beginners through blues progressions, improvisation, and acoustic technique. You will also learn electric technique, power chords, and how to maintain your gear.
Do you want to master reading tabs? We tackle tuning and tone so your instrument stays ready for action. I keep the pace steady so you gain confidence.
